Black screen when charging s10

[Android Central Question]

Got it today battery ran down to 0
Charging it but can't see the % when it's charging
If I press a button it'll show me the % for about 10 second then go black again
Shouldn't it show me all the time what the % is without me pressing buttons? Double tap doesn't work either when phone off
Is this normal

If you configure the always on display to be "always on" you can see the charging status. As for the double tap to wake go to Settings>Advanced Features>Motions and Gestures. There are a few settings there that I like to enable.
