I have what i think is a strange issue which is doing my head in.

When i open up Samsung Internet and start typing, the first word is always highlighted. So if i am typing a multi word search for example, when i start typing the second word, it auto deletes the first as it is highlighted.

What on earth is going on, any idea?

I am using swiftkey but have tried the samsung keyboard but i think it is a Internet browser thing as no other app has this issue.

    Cheers

So when the second word becomes the first the cycle start all over again or it just deletes the first and then it's done?

Have you tried scrolling the screen up a little before typing the first word? The reason this comes to mind is because to highlight a word you would press and hold it, if your screen thought it was getting a similar input where the first word is typed, say if the screen was dirty or damaged, it might exhibit a behavior like this.

You mentioned using Gboard but didn't give any result, so are we to assume that the result was the same? This takes me back to my former question.
