Android Central Question

hey guys

i noticed a plastic cover over the S10E screen, it seems like a screen protector but im just not sure, ive seen this with huawei and oppo, and it was to cover not having an oleophobic coating on the phone

Can anyone confirm if its worth keeping on and if you take it off, how the phone feels.

I moved this to the S10e forum for more specific traffic.

It screen protector, similar to any Chinese brands phone. I'll keep it on until something better come along.

So I had a S7 for 18 months, never used a screen protector, never had a scratch on that thing. I get an iPhone X, and sure enough, it gets a micro scratch within the first week. Now that i am going to give the s10e a shot, I wonder if I need to protect it from micro scratches or if it will be a champ like my s7 and resist them?

T-Mobile kinda snatched it off before I could say anything BUT... they just started offering ‘for the life of...’ screen protectors as long as you buy it form them. It’s glass and a fingerprint magnet and I don’t like the touch sensitivity of it. As soon as it gets one scratch, I’ll go back and see if I can get a matte finish for a free replacement if possible.

You should buy it from Amazon. Screen protector at carriers store are overpriced.

I too recommend Amazon, I've gotten all of my tempered glass screen protectors from Amazon and they have all been successful purchases. My husband has done the same! I love the two-packs you can get as well.

I am a Amazon Prime member and love getting everything device related from them. Since this one has a Tmobile guarantee, I'll make sure they honor it and save my AP for my other gadgets. Thank you for the reply

I just spent hours going through the screen protectors at Amazon and the one star reviews vary from 9%-25%. Which do you prefer? Thank you in advance (FYI it would be polite of me to call myself a butterfingers lol).
