Got my factory unlocked S10e yesterday. So far, I am really enjoying it. Using it on T-Mobile. A few strange things though. My wife has the T-mobile variant of it and gets more bars than I do, especially at home. Also, under the service icon on the top right, my S10e just shows LTE and not 4G LTE. Sometimes it shows LTE+. What exactly is the difference between these two and why does my wife get better service on her T-Mobile carrier locked version? I also noticed my phone only shows 4 service bars where hers has 5. Does that mean say for example if I have 2 bars, it's really equal to 3? Because normally under 2 bars, my V30 wouldn't work whereas this device is still very fast.

For a better idea of signal strength, hi to settings-about phone-status-Sim card status and look at the signal strength. Lower number is better, compare the two phones. Sometimes those signal bars are misleading.
