I have been using Yahoo Mail on my s2 for almost 3 years. I 'uninstalled' the application today to fix a problem I was having with deleting large files from my 'outbox' - they were too big to send. However, when I then tried re-installing the Yahoo Mail app, I discovered that the version available in the Google Play store is incompatible with my phone (possibly because the phone is old??). Help!! Is there any other way to install the Yahoo mail app?

Welcome to Android Central! You're right, the currently available version is probably not compatible with very old versions of Android. You could try installing one of these versions, but be aware that I can't be sure how safe this site is (although they do give lots of information about themselves, so it's probably legit).

Awesome! this worked beautifully. I had problems with the later versions listed on your linked page but the 3 series worked fine. Thank you!!
