Thats what I did. I ran it down to 30 and then charged to 100. Once it has a good grip of my patterns, I'm going to start unplugging @90%

Don't worry about going to a full charge..
Run it up to 100%.
Not going to hurt nothing.

Phone is new..
It has to learn..
Watch which apps you install..
They can cause battert drain.
Run maintenance in your settings every now and then..
Cut your phone off and back on every few days too.

Actually had another slight gain in mAh, from 3638 to 3649 so maybe the battery is ok.

Run the battery down to 25% a few times..charger it to 100%

Quit worrying about the battery.

If I worrying as much as you.
I would of already broke the hammer out.

Everyone has different concerns that they feel are important to them and not all solutions require the use a hammer or other aggressive acts caused by frustration.

LOL yeah I wouldn't quite subject my phone to a hammer over the battery, especially since I paid $855(after tax) for it just last week. Having said that, it appears my battery efficacy is stabilizing and I'm becoming more confident in it. I'll continue to monitor for a few days, but I feel more comfortable with it than I did the other day.

Pretty significant increase in battery health. Im more and more confident this battery will be perfectly fine.

Trying to preserve battery health and longevity

first couple days I charged my phone up to 100% and let it drain to like 10%. But then I thought i really need to take care of the battery considering I spent $855 on this thing.

First couple days show a lot of "damage" last few days I've cut the damage down in half by maintaining my phone between 30% and 90% charge. Am I doing enough to preserve the battery for the long term?

Except those graphs do not represent real wear and tear data and are based on a preconceived algorithm.

Re: Trying to preserve battery health and longevity

So are these battery monitor apps actually useless then? Currently using Accubattery
They have their uses, but you also have to know what to look for. For example, I don't pay attention to the individual charge cycle impacts. I pay more attention to the estimated capacity, but even that is just to get a general idea of health.
