The 13th update for the global, Exynos, model, SM-98*B, has been released for the unbranded Galaxy S20 phones just 7 days after the previous THH release and is mainly for improved camera performance.

This update should apply to most Global S20 model phones, SM-G98*B.

The update, G98*BXXU4BTIB has the September 2020 Android Security patch.

Download size = 356.34 MB

Build date = 15 September
2020 (11th build)

I see what you mean about your model, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra LTE for Indonesia, (XID), model.

Samsung's own official changelog for the XID shows that the 4G model has only received 8 updates so far, with the latest being the TH5 update from August... now, 2 updates behind the 5G Global model.

I am afraid that you may have to get used to this with the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra LTE (4G) model as it is very much a minority variant.

I feel that Samsung will either roll out the TIB update with the September Android Security patch or leave it a few days and roll out an October release and Android Security patch... a sort of cumulative update.

At least it has 5G and a SD processor...

5G is pointless in Indonesia as it does not have a 5G network and may not have one for another 4 years or so.

Also, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G model for Singapore has, I am given to understand from the Samsung Singapore website, an Exynos 990 chipset with the standard CPU speeds of 2.73GHz, 2.5GHz, 2GHz that the Exynos runs worldwide as opposed to the SnapDragon 865 chip at 2.84GHz, 2.42GHz, 1.8GHz.

This website also lists the Singapore model as having the Exynos chipset...

Ah true.... But more worthed it if you ask me... In Indonesia the Singapore version with 12/512 costs USD$2000... In Singapore it actually costs less than USD$1800...

Neither is as cheap as the mere USD$1100 that you paid for your Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra LTE...

"Yes. But at least dont remove it and sell it for the 5G price... This S20 Ultra costs me USD$1100. And phones other than Samsung for instance have 5G in them..."

Because 12/128 too... Shouldve just sold the 12/512 for USD$1800 in Indonesia...

I wonder how many Indonesian users would be prepared to pay 63% more, USD$700, for an extra 384GB of built-in storage and 5G that they cannot use for 4 years.

Does the LTE model not have a shared SIM slot that would accept a USD$60 400GB microSDXC card?

Not much actually. Hahaha. Not much would want to pay that difference... But a 400GB in Indonesia costs USD$120-$130... And im not a fan of moving stuff often from my phone to the MicroSD... Samsung Indonesia marketed the S20U as the best video phone and so on, then proceeds to sell thr 12/128 version and with no hesitation told customers that 128GB is enough as we can move photos and videos to the microsd card... But 8K doesn't get saved straight to the microsd and it takes a lot of space. But thats just me recording in 8k...

How much is Rp1.430.000 in USD$?

Forgive me as I can only find an exchange rate for IDR430.000 = USD$28.95 for a Samsung 512GB MicroSDXC EVO Plus Class 10 UHS-1 U3 512 GB ORI
