I know I'm in the minority at least in this forum, but I like the subtle curve. It is aesthetically pleasing and keeps the phone looking almost bezel-less. I never get the accidental side touches that people complain about and I have big hands.

I hate the accidental touches on the edge especially with the large overall screen. At least my case blocks that now.

IMO the S20 Ultra has the best balance between curve to flat screen.

I'm with you. The only reason I want the flat screen is to stop seeing the whining about it on the forums.

Much prefer a flat screen. Plus so much less expensive to replace if broken.
I'd imagine Samsung are doing this to cut the cost of manufacturing. But not reduce the cost of the new model

I like the look of it but I prefer a flat screen, especially with the S-Pen. I use SmartSelect a lot, and I have a lot of issues selecting stuff on the edge of the curve--I often have to try 3 or 4 times, which is really frustrating. But, having a flat-screened Pixel 4XL, which is almost the same size as the Note 20 Ultra, the Pixel feels thicker than it is, just because the sides aren't curved.

Ha ha right. As long as screen quality doesn't decrease I'm good either way.

Correct not to mention that the screen on the note 20 Ultra screen is .6 bigger with the same footprint.

I don't mind the slight curve. Looks great, and I don't really have any problems with accidental touch. I would love to see them move the fingerprint sensor to the back of the phone again though. I like to use glass screen protection, but I guess only a few expensive ones work with in screen fingerprint sensor. Just picked up the s20 plus, and am still rocking the pre installed screen protector, but when it gets scratched up, I'd like to go glass.

I don't have an issue with the appearance of curves or accidental touches but I find screen protectors impossible to install without bubbles and the S Pen experience is ruined on the Note due to the curve on the edges.

I'd rather go back to flat, hope if the S series becomes flat again the Note follows.

I never had issues with curved screens or flat . I rather have back curved and front flat but no biggie.

Personally, I love the curved screen. I had one on my S7+ and my S10+. No issues.

I hate curved screens as well, I've almost dropped phones trying to avoid accidental touches. Only way I'd ever own a curved screen was if I got it dirt cheap, and then it would get a case immediately lol.
