    Every time I turn my phone off/on or restart it, text messages, texted photos, and gifs from months ago return. I got a new phone only one week ago and I'm even receiving messages from my old phone. I need this to stop. I went from a Samsung S8 Active to a Samsung S20 Plus. I only text from the stock messaging app.

    If you just moved to the s20 did you choose to restore your stuff that can transfer old messages to new phone.
