Android 11 stable update rolling out for Global S20's

Samsung have just released the stable update for Android 11 and UI 3.0 for the global Galaxy S20 range, not the S20 FE as beta is only just starting to begin for that model.

It is a FOTA, (Firmware Over The Air), update and you should check... Settings > Software update... to see if it has arrived for you.

Be advised, it may take a little longer to arrive on some carrier branded models.

I have a Verizon SIM and have yet to recieve the update on my device.

Verizon is not covered by Samsung's Global Exynos firmware roll out.

There is speculation that the Verizon firmware has been pulled. See... Seems like the S20 Ultra Verizon Android 11 update got pulled back... You may receive more help on that thread.

My SIM is Verizon, but the device itself is unlocked.

I believe carrier version verzion got it first, you can check frija tool if it say Android 11 when you put your model number and region vzw

Mine is a standard s20 snapdragon 865. How do I find the CSC code?

This is great to know! Hopefully it will happen for the S10 line soon, as well!

865 is the Snapdragon chipset. I was after your model of S20/S20+/S20 Ultra

To locate your CSC code, go to...

Settings >About phone > Software Information > Service provider software version.. where you should find a 3 digit code as per the screenshot, below.

Latest update showing for the SM-G98*U model is back in April as Verizon do not make their branded firmware available. However, it will be the one mentioned in this thread... Seems like the S20 Ultra Verizon Android 11 update got pulled back...

With the roll-out of Three and O2 today, that completes the U.K. Android 11 update for the S20 flagships. :)

Still waiting for the update on my unlock S20 ultra.

This is good news for unlocked models with AT&T now releasing their update. So T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T have all released their updates. Since there is only a Big Three now with the Sprint/T-Mobile merger, are there any other major carriers that come out with their updates before the unlocked update starts to get put together by Samsung?
