Thanks for sharing nice comparison I had hoped that they would be wider other than longer it won't add much if anything to 16:9 landscape content in fact it'll only have more black bars at the sides

Why are people complaining about the S20 sizes when they're not much bigger than the comparable S10s (I'm thinking the thickness includes the camera bumps)?

My S10+ with a thin case fits comfortably in the side pocket when I wear carpenter jeans, so much so that people can't tell that I have my phone on me.

I agree it's just I had hoped for more width other than just length of the device for landscape content in 16:9 aspect ratio

I'm able to put my S10+ in the front pocket of regular fit jeans comfortably even with an otterbox commuter case.

I like the size. But I really want a functional 5G that doesn't have a lot of bugs/compromises in it. I wonder when that will happen.

Don't go by the screen size alone. Check the length, breath and width. As usual Samsung will reduce the bezels .

You bring up a really good point. That's why it's so imperative to hold the phone in the hand to ensure that it works for you before buying it. I thought the S10 would be too big for me but holding it made me realize it would!

Note 10 plus has a 6.8 inch screen so 6.9 can be done with less bezel in same frame really

Agreed, and they are changing the aspect ratio also so that should make it easier to put that screen size without getting bigger

The S20 Ultra is, in fact, huge. Bigger than the Note10+. The overall dimensions are the biggest of any Samsung flagship yet, excluding foldables.

Here's how its cubic volume (in millimeters) compares to other popular flagships. As you can see, it'll feel noticeably bigger in the hand than even the gargantuan Note10+:

S20 Ultra: 111,689.6
Note9: 108,848.608
OnePlus 7 Pro: 108,603.792
Note8: 104,533.0
iPhone 11 Pro Max: 99,568.44
S10 5G: 99,539.4924
S9+: 99,176.13
Note10+: 98,983.524
