Here’s what T-Mobile’s Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) pricing looks like for the new devices:

Galaxy S20 128GB for $0 down and $41.67 per month

Galaxy S20+ 128GB for $0 down and $50 per month

Galaxy S20+ 512GB for $149.99 down and $50 per month

Galaxy S20 Ultra 128GB for $0 down and $58.34 per month

Galaxy S20 Ultra 512GB for $199.99 down and $58.34 per month

Here’s the JUMP! On Demand prices for the Galaxy S20 series:

Galaxy S20 128GB: $249.99 down and $30 per month

Galaxy S20+ 128GB: $449.99 down and $28 per month

Galaxy S20+ 512GB: $599.99 down and $26 per month

Galaxy S20 Ultra 128GB: $649.99 down and $26 per month

Galaxy S20 Ultra 512GB: $849.99 down and $24 per month

And here’s what each Galaxy S20 model will cost at full retail price:

Galaxy S20 128GB for $999.99

Galaxy S20+ 128GB for $1,199.99

Galaxy S20+ 512GB for $1,349.99

Galaxy S20 Ultra 128GB for $1,399.99

Galaxy S20 Ultra 512GB for $1,599.99

I may skip this year. No way I can afford those crazy prices. Samsung has officially passed Apple in the greed department. Unless I can trade in my current Pixel I'll pass this year.

WTF T-mobile?? $649.99 down?
You could buy a whole other phone for that price. Why doesn't T-mobile just do itself a favor and kill off JOD? What an embarrassment. I thought the zero down $58 per month was for any option. That pretty much cements my decision going with Samsung it seems. Unless they offer up some unrealistic trade in deals and I go EIP, like Samsung.

T-mobile offers the Note10+ 5G for 3 years I believe. I think T-mobile is more to blame here than Samsung. Not sure they'll find anyone dumb enough to jump on those JOD prices. We're a long way from the zero down program it started as.

Yea that's there way of saying yes we still offer jod but don't really want you using it so let's make it more unattractive than eip.

As most reviewers are saying 5G phones are going to be expensive. I don't expect to see any major trade-in discounts like we have seen in the past. I maybe wrong we will see. If I had the option I would save $200 and good incentives and not have 5G.

It's worth nothing that if you've been with T-Mobile a long enough time and are in their highest credit tier, you'll get lower JOD down payments than what is shown on their published list. Same was true of the Note10, S10, iPhone 11, iPhone X, etc.

Is it a Freudian slip that you said it's worth "nothing"? I agree.
When the Note9 was announced, I talked to the reps all through the pre-order process and was not offered a more attractive deal, even though they said I was on their highest tier. I guess YMMV when it comes to getting better deals.
For this one, I am coming out ahead by paying off the JOD balances and trading in to Samsung.
I don't want a $58 per month payment regardless.

The lower prices are definitely not guaranteed. Half the reps have no idea what you're talking about when you mention that. I've only been able to receive bill credits to make up for some of the down-payment. I'm thinking of upgrading a line on EIP and jumping to a cheap phone to get out of JOD. Either that or switch to Verizon. Only reason I stay with T-mobile's inferior network is for JOD and it's not worth it anymore.

I got rid of JoD when phones started getting more expensive to the point they have huge down payments, but 849.99 down is flat out crazy!!! FWIW I'm on their top tier credit-wise, and never missed a payment. I've only been back with them for about 4 years though. Maybe a shorter time is why I've never been offered anything other than the advertised pricing.

Im on Jump!

I need to see if ill be 50% paid off (S10+) by time the S20 is released so hopefully it'll be just the $200 down (going for the Ultra 512GB).

And does anyone remember what the EIC prices for the S10 series were...

I am on Jump! too. I had a 200 down payment for the 10+ and was hoping for something 200-300 down for the s20+. I only owe one more payment on my 10+ to be half payed off. The numbers that are out there for JOD and 0 down are crazy!

Wow 849 for a down payment is insane!! I can't even imagine how much the next Note will be.

TBF that's for the 512 Ultra. I've got a Note 10+ that I'm completely happy with still so the S20's aren't something I'd buy anyway. I need 256 storage, so the 128 wouldn't even be on the table if I were seriously looking. But yes, these prices make me very nervous for this year's Note.

Yeah I believe the next Note will start at 256.

Agreed! I'm thinking about paying off my S10+ to get out of JOD and trading it into Samsung to have a manageable price. Such a shame that JOD is garbage now!

I'm on Jump! not JOD. I have $210 left on my Note 9, so I assume it's well more then 50% paid off. I've never pre ordered before, but I'm really looking at the Ultra 128gb. So mine would be 0 down + 58 a month? I wouldn't pay anything for the preorder besides taxes?

My pixel is completely paid for. I'm also on the Jump, I'd rather pay a small down payment and lower monthly EIP. But I'd never go over $30 a month.

I have JOD and in my experience as long as half the price of the phone is paid off I always get the phone as advertised online like $0 down and so forth. I've had nothing but great experiences with T-Mobile EXCEPT when turning a device in for repair one time for a broken headphone jack and the warehouse where they process the claims was running scams by claiming people turned in badly damaged devices. Anywho maybe I'm not on JOD actually but I always get the price as advertised online. In any case thanks for the useful price breakdown. I'm gonna wait for LG to announce the V60 before making a decision or keeping my OnePlus 7 Pro.
