Would be a nice incentive but last year in my area we didn't end up getting the buds as promised due to shortage of stock hopefully they will come through this year

Yes but they had none coming in for a few months, so they gave us a bigger trade in value which helped out but I wanted the buds lol

That's not a suggestion. It specifically stated the buds come with the pre order

Given it hasn't been announced, I wouldn't want to state it as official yet. We've seen leaked promos using official renders before that didn't come to fruition. They can always decide not do do something before Unpacked.

That is kind of sad, but I suppose I do understand why Samsung is doing that.

Same thing as when the S10 was released. The S10e model didn't get the free head phones. Don't expect anything different.

You're right, but I don't think it's quite apples-to-apples. The S20 is the direct successor to the S10. The S20+ to the S10+. And the S20 Ultra is a whole new segment, new size, etc. There is no successor to the S10e, as it seems they're now going the "Lite" route.

It makes sense when you compare that the cheapest models in the line up don't get the free gift. I'm just hoping their trade-in offers are as good as they were when the note 10 devices first launched.

That wasn't the case here in the U.S. The Note 10+ came with regular buds and 200 Samsung Store credit.
