I went to check to see if I got the Feb 1 security update on my S21+ and I have been stuck on this screen forever. I have rebooted and also wiped the cache partition. Nothing works. Any thoughts?

Toggle wifi off then on? Turn off mobile data also.

PS: how to stop being automatically subscribed to a thread I reply to? Don't see as a preference option, don't recall that happening before.

Click on Tools at the top of the individual thread and click Unsubscribe.

Go to settings>apps>tap system apps>scroll to system updates should be 2 and clear data on both and force stop them

I just did that but only on one since I didn't see two system update apps. Then I went to check for software update and it is still taking an unusually long time to check.

Sorry typo by me , software updateView attachment 331429

Ok thanks. Just did that and it did stop the one I had in progress. But then I went to check for update again and it is still taking a long time...still checking. It will probably check for another 20 minutes. Is this normal behavior for Galaxy Phones. Usually I would wait about 30 seconds at most to check for an update.

I actually had three and did it for all three. It is still checking for updates for last 15 minutes.
