    They need lemon laws for these expensive phones just like cars. When people are getting into situations where they're financing phones... just like cars, I think they deserve similar protections. Right now the phone companies can do whatever they want, and all we can do is grin and bear it

    Did Samsung report how they repaired the phone? Did they replace the motherboard, or a different component?

    Usually when less than 30 days old they replace it,that's UK law anyway

    Did you get it from a carrier or is it unlocked? Verizon will replace the device for up to a year after purchase per the manufacturer warranty. I've had several phones replaced by Verizon after months of use.

    It sounds like the op is getting the typical treatment...a repair that never seems to leave the phone the way it was new, more scratches, loss of water resistance, other things damaged by the repair....or in their case the repair not fixing the problem.. twice. The next step will be a used phone to replace the brand new one they just bought.

    For the money they paid, if their brand new phone is defective they deserves to have a brand new replacement. There really needs to be more consumer protection laws everywhere covering this loophole.
