    A week ago Saturday I bought a S20FE 5G. The next day I returned it and got a S21. Today I returned the S21 and got a S21 Ultra.

If you would have just gotten the note 20U the first time you wouldn't have been indecisive.

The good thing is that you were able to return the phones and were not stuck with paying for them all. Hope you enjoy your S21 Ultra.

IKR. Best Buy didn't charge a restocking fee on either return.

That's what I'm thinking. I initially bought the S21+ yesterday but cancelled it and got the Ultra. I figured why bother with another return.

You think you are bad? I have been through so many phones lately.

In December, I traded my Galaxy Note 9 in for a promo from my carrier where you could get a free Oneplus 8 device. I was happy at first.

Now, months later, I hate the Oneplus device to the point where I sold it. Never again.

I bought another Note 9 first originally. Returned it. Then I got an S21 plus, returned. S20 FE, returned. Tried out the Note 9 again, returned. LG V60, returned. Got the Note 10 plus also recently. And now I have ordered also a regular S21.. and guess what.. another Note 9. Lol. I can't seem to let go of this device. Either that or I'm just crazy.

All my devices from Samsung are from them directly and unlocked, and I have a finance account of around 2000-3000 so the return and order process is fairly simple. That is bad for someone like me. Lol

So.. it could be worse... you could be like me. Lol

I don't think so. Best Buy just sells the return as an open box item and everyone moves on with their life. Samsung isn't affected at all.

Disagree as well, the percentage of people who return is very less. And also it's not like we can only return phones and that's why they are expensive. You can return anything you buy in the US and doesn't just apply to phones. I don't think return factors anything into phone pricing. Every retailer have their way to handle returns, like selling them as open boxes after charging restocking fees etc. It's up to the retailer to figure out what kind of return policies they want. For example some US carriers charge crazy return fees. I think for example T-Mobile charges $75 restocking fee.

I traded in my S10 for the S20 FE in November. My wife waited. She got the S21 Ultra in February. She came home with that phone and I couldn't help myself. I waited for a deal and eventually found a promo code from Samsung for $300 off. I'm posting from my S21 Ultra. My S20 FE is in its box. Loving my Ultra.

I have also tried each variation of S21. I decided to keep the Ultra. When I had the S21+ I returned it to Bestbuy, with a restocking fee. But I thought that S21+ and Ultra are so close in size that it would be best to settle on the Ultra. Just sold and shipped my S21 yesterday.

The Ultra is the best of the bunch. I wish Samsung would make a Ultra mini. They make so many other phones, why not.

I have T-Mobile and have never paid a restocking fee. But then again, I have never set foot in a store for such things. Ordering online and through customer service is the way to go as you can easily return said devices through buyers remorse within 21 days with no restocking fees.

Most of the time I just get bored with whatever phone I have...do some research...and buy a new phone! I always sell the "old" one on Ebay, or Swappa to recoup some of the cost. I have only returned two phones for various reasons...Samsung Galaxy S10e, and the S20FE. Otherwise, my research usually is thorough enough so that when I actually take ownership of the phone it is exactly what I expected.

I will do one better, I’m also on T-Mobile and have never bought a carrier branded device in the last 7-8 years to worry about anything with these useless carriers

Was just stating the restocking fees based on what I have heard from others and also based on return policy https://www.t-mobile.com/responsibil...saleactivation

“You may also be required to pay a restocking fee based on the Full Retail Price (“FRP”) of the Device as follows: $70 for devices with a FRP of $600 or more”

As with any restocking fees, you may be charged or can get it waived based on many factors but I was just stating the general return policy as documented by T-Mobile.

I only just started recently getting into unlocked devices. I always finance my devices because I don't have hundreds of dollars to pay for a device up front. With Samsung, you can finance devices and purchase them from them directly and factory unlocked.

Idk how it works with other companies, but financing through Samsung is cheaper compared to T-Mobile and relatively hassle free.
