S21 Ultra slim question

Hey guys.

Not sure what came over me yesterday but I found myself in the Samsung Experience Store here in LA, clutching my brand new but slightly boring iPhone 13 Pro in one hand and using the other to purchase an S21 Ultra and Galaxy Watch 4! *

Anyway - I have a question. I can't seem to find a conclusive answer online so hoping somebody has real world experience.

I currently use my physical US Tmobile SIM in the iPhone and run an esim for my UK cellphone operator which allows me access to both numbers.

Can I do this on the US version of the S21 Ultra? There seem to be some saying it is dual SIM, others saying it is esim and others saying it is software related and I can't make sense of it all.

It's regional.

The US version is single SIM, and doesn't currently support eSIM.

My UK version is dual-SIM, and also supports eSIM.

Bah. According to an article on this site, I'm sure I read Alex Dobie's US variant is now double esim. That's why I'm confused.

The Android 12 beta had eSIM, but I think it was removed.

Also, are you positive it was the US version he was talking about?
