Something I've noticed over the last 6 weeks or so is that the S21 is skipping it's regularly scheduled reset roughly every other week. It's scheduled for 11pm every Saturday night. It did it last weekend but didn't this weekend. That's the pattern it's been following lately. I don't know if it was doing it before the Android 12 update or not. I can't exactly remember the exact time it skipped it for the first time.

Reset or just rebooting? If you had it on a routine to only do that once a week couldn't you just do it manually? I reboot mine every few days, no structured schedule to it or anything.

Apparently it'll skip it if your screen is on or battery is below 30%, maybe it's one of those things?

Standard thing to try first, turn it off, restart your phone and turn it back on.

Just for what it's worth, there isn't really any need to do this anymore.

It's called "restart" in the settings. I guess I could manually do it but it was just much easier to let it do it on it's own.

My screen or battery never goes below 30% so that wasn't it. As far as needing to do it goes this is just one of those things that was in a "first things you must do" videos on Youtube when I got this phone. "You need to go into settings and schedule a weekly restart" kind of thing.

I haven't done any reboots on my S10+ other than those that happen when there are software updates. It has not affected performance at all in the 2+ years I've had the phone. I'd expect the S21 has even better performance and even less need to reboot.

Agree , never turn my phone off and no lag or performance issues
