I've tried everything to fix this issue.

My next idea would be a factory default reset.

Do you think this is a waste of time?

I'm afraid this malfunction will affect its trade in value or I would do that most likely.

It's less than 2 years old.

Is it all pictures?

Any protector over your lens?

You can also try safe mode and see the issue persists.

Okay, I booted in safe mode and the pictures cleared up.

What does that tell me?
I should reset the phone to factory default and start over?

I'm thinking a full backup and restore would not get rid of the issue?

Possiblly a rouge app ...

Maybe go into Settings>security and privacy>privacy>permission manager and see what apps have access to your camera. See if there's any app there that doesn't necessarily need camera permission and turn off it's access.

I did.
The issue persists.

Just tried safe mode again and clear pics.

What if you deny all apps listed access to the camera (if you haven't already)?

You happen to be using the Good Lock camera assistant module?

I tried that.
I'm not using Good Lock.

I tried another camera app and the problem persists.

Hmmm .... Quite perplexing!

Unfortunately, I am at a loss for other possible fixes at the moment. The dreaded factory reset may be in order ... But maybe some other members will chime in with ideas.

Thanks anyway.

I'm thinking a backup and restore would be pointless and instead starting over with a factory reset would be the way to go.

Yeah, a restore may possibly restore the issue.
