I just got through to TMO, and they said android 13 for the s21 series is still in testing and is expected to be released soon. I have no idea why it's taking them so long.

Because T-Mobile sucks. Lol.

That said, I'm not really in a hurry to get the update because I'm scared of what issues might follow since there are usually some.

I'm running it on my tablet and it is faster and more polished. It will definitely be an improvement.

No sign yet on my factory unlocked model on T-Mobile. I feel factory unlocked users always get the short end of the stick when it comes to updates.

Yeah I figured as much. That myth of "unlocked devices getting updates quicker," goes out the window lol

It such a hit or miss sometimes they can be first usually security updates just nothing concrete to say this way it happens all the time , Samsung throws curve balls and keeps us on our toes lol

Locked S21 5G...Got the update 11/28 and everything seems to be a tad slower. Opening apps, response to taps, etc.

Did you Wipe Cache Partition, Repair apps & run Galaxy App Booster? I do 3 cache partition wipes as a habit back from the days when I used to run custom ROM's. After you wipe cache partition, instead of rebooting immediately, scroll to the bottom and select repair apps. Once it does that and finishes booting, run the Galaxy App Booster in the Good Guardians App.

I did the above and mine is actually running faster since the update.
