The security patch, too? My S21U with T-Mobile still shows a November 1 security patch. I just received that update two days ago, previously October 1. I would u/l a screenshot but apparently the forum is having trouble with uploading pics into posts right now.
I uploaded the photo via Tapatalk so the quality is bad.

This is not the unlocked model. Unlocked ones tend to be last for some reason...

Gotcha. Should've read the beginning of the thread. My bad.

This is the biggest downside to using a factory unlocked device.

Still would choose the unbranded/unlock over carrier version

Yes. Definitely. I don't like carrier bloatware and prefer to have the freedom to use whatever carrier I want if need be.

My old T-Mobile branded Note 9 was destroyed essentially by a combination of battery life and lag after T-Mobile pushed a stupid app called "Carrier hub." Something to do with the Sprint merger, but it couldn't be removed in any way, and if you did, it just showed up again.

After that, I told myself I would never again use another carrier locked device.

No, I purchased package disabler pro with the lifetime option many years ago. He changed the name and now you have to purchase every couple of months. The original app was working up until Android 11 or 12. The new app is package disabler and isn't avaible on the play store any longer.

Yeah, that is theft and there is a reason it's not available in the play store any longer.

    Why is it theft ?
The person pays the Knox license to enable on Samsung unlike Alliance shield x which didn't and doesn't work

Because he sold a lifetime license, and then changed the name so he could get around the license. It is no longer Package Disabler Pro. It is now just package disabler. That is shady at best. If it was so above board, why isn't it available on the play store any longer?

Yeah I remember that lifetime license back then , not sure what happened and why it changed , not sure also why it was pulled from play store but I'm thinking it has to do with you mentioned, still if you have a Samsung this app is totally worth it and for couple bucks a year definitely will support this app to continue, without it you have to go adb commands or root and both to me not worth it . I understand your view but doesn't change mine on this app.

Yes, I was referring to the security patches, not the other software updates. I'm still running a November 1 security patch, although it says everything is up-to-date.
