Yeah I remember that lifetime license back then , not sure what happened and why it changed , not sure also why it was pulled from play store but I'm thinking it has to do with you mentioned, still if you have a Samsung this app is totally worth it and for couple bucks a year definitely will support this app to continue, without it you have to go adb commands or root and both to me not worth it . I understand your view but doesn't change mine on this app.
