    Hi All:

due to a hand injury, i need a Popsocket to help me hold on to my phone.

since the S21 Ultra, the glass caseback does NOT allow Popsocket's glue to stick onto the glass back.

as such, i needed to use the Otter+Pop Symmetry case for the S21 Ultra since the Popsocket is molded and built-in to the back of the Otter Symmetry case.

i'm wondering if they won't make that case for the S22 Ultra, which regular minimalist case would allow Popsocket's glue to stick onto the case? many cases are silicone and the Popsocket's glue won't stick onto those silicone cases.

hoping for some knowledgeable, experience folks who know for sure which cases would allow Popsockets to stick to securely.

    thank you.

Have you tried some gorilla glue or possibly 3M two-sided tape? I've used gorilla glue to hold a plastic suction cup to a windshield and then banged the vehicle on some of the worse off-road trails in Moab for four years. Always held.

    @RETG: thanks for your idea.

i can't use gorilla glue to glue a popsocket to the glass back of the phone if i trade in my S2x Ultra every year with Samsung!

You don't glue the pop socket to the phone but to the back of the case! It should adhere to the silicone back as it would to glass. Just get a inexpensive case.

the guy is very handy! i'm much much less handy. modifications to anything would be dangerous for me!

thank you for the good ideas though.

i just need to find a simple, minimalist case that the popsockets would stick to, simplest without glue, but if absolutely needed, glue on the case can work too.

    thank you for your ideas!

The plastic backs of cases made by Velvet Caviar https://velvetcaviar.com/ definitely hold pop sockets. I’ve got a similar issue and need help holding phones. Most of their styles are very feminine and blingy, but they do make a clear case. I’m just not sure they’re going to make one for the S22 Ultra. They make everything for iPhones but have a more limited selection for non-iPhones. The quality of their cases for iPhone has been excellent for me and hold Pop Sockets very well.

Ringke on Amazon used to have some clear case models as did Casekoo. I’ve got an adhesive ring holder for my Pixel 6 Pro on a clear case from Spigen. Also from Amazon.

    Hi All:

due to my hand surgery, i have to use a Popsocket to help me hold securely onto a cellphone.

ever since the S21 Ultra, the glass casebacks of the Samsung flagship phones are coated and thus, the Popsocket's adhesive does NOT stick onto the phone.

i was forced last year to buy an Otter+Pop Symmetry case as it has a Popsocket built-in, molded directly onto the Otter+Pop's Symmetry case.

however, one kind poster on this forum suggested a Latercase:

    https://latercase.com/products/galax...ltra-thin-case

may i ask if anyone tried to use a Popsocket on these Latercases? is it very securely glued onto these Latercases?

    thank you.
