I currently own the Pixel 7 pro but I am very intrigued by S23 Ultra with the updated camera sensor and Snapdragon chip. I don't think the pixel will get a good trade in for Samsung S23 Ultra.
For those that have the S22 Ultra when you purchased it from Samsung did you trade in a phone and what trade in value did Samsung give you when you traded it in.
I'm contemplating buying a used Ultra S21 or S22 for trade in for the new Ultra.

Your best bet is to definitely have a Samsung phone for the best trade. You will not get a good trade-in for the P7P if it even shows up under the trade-in values...

Here's a photo of what they are offering for trade in amount on the S22U. The pixle 7 isn't offered for trade in, I imagine it will be on the S23 series. There usually a enhanced trade in amount for pre orders.

The pixle phones are substantially cheaper phones new and I would expect the trade INS will reflect that.

We didn't want the 22 Ultra we were waiting for the 23 Ultra but then a couple months after the 21 ultra came out they were offering $1,000 for the 21 Ultra so we traded in and I loved the 22 offer but we figured we would get more of a trade-in value for the 23 having the 22 over the 21 so we'll just have to wait and see. But yeah we thought $1,000 was a good deal I'm hoping to at least get $800 for the 21.

Yikes! The Pixel 6 line doesn't give you much as far as trade-in value is concerned! That is too bad! :(

I think they might do $1,000 on S22U. They are going to have to make the trade INS strong if they want any chance of high sales.

I would say lower the promo credit in lieu of the higher trade in. The economy is in a situation that lowering up front costs would be better then credit promos IMO.

I agree but they have teams that look at those things and with them making a wide range of phones mid-range/premium/Foldable they probably care total volume and have been beating everyone.

I agree on this also. I'm just hoping with the sales dropping last few releases that they might up the trade in amounts this time to drive the sales up some. Here's to hoping.

Same I hope but we lucky in the US some other countries don't get the good trade-in or promotion

I like the idea of less credits for accessories and more for trade in. Don't need anymore chargers, earbuds, or whatever else.

I might be wrong but don't they give little less and not other options on the promos if they give you good trade in discount?
