how do i get my samsung mini III to stop talking?

It announces every call or message that is incoming. It did this for about a day. Now if I tap phone or message it draws a box around it & I have to tap twice more and the voice repeats every action I make.

Open system settings > accessibility. The settings to disable talk back are in there. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Welcome to Android Central! Agree with srkmagnus. Be aware that in TalkBack mode, you have to double tap an item instead of single tapping it. To swipe, you have to use two fingers instead of one.
