Hi everyone, I have entered the awesome world of rooting my phone.
I came across an interesting thing. I always thought that my Galaxy S3 was a GT-i9300 (international version), as it said in the System Information, as well as the sticker on the back. This was also what it said on Amazon when I ordered it. Now here's the catch, when I enter Download mode, it says my Product name is actually the SGH-T999 (T-mobile).
Which product name should I follow, is there any way to check for sure?
I wanted to try and install a custom ROM of Android 5.0, but all the guides I find say they only work for the GT-i9300 model, is there a risk I can brick my phone?
What do you guys recommend?
