Re: Today ONLY! Sandisk 64 GB microSD Card - $49.99

I placed my order with BB and received it today and what they sent me was a Class 10 64GB micro SC card for $49.99. Based on the comments about the Class 10 cards, should I be returning this card in favor of the Class 6.

Sorry to hear about some of you receiving the class 6. Hopefully the rest get a class 10!

Hell no!! Why would you return a faster card over a slower one??

Re: Today ONLY! Sandisk 64 GB microSD Card - $49.99

Hey guys.. I ordered two of these cards. One with the Amazon deal at $59.95 and one previously on newegg. I recently received the Amazon one, and it is a class 10 card. In fact, both the newegg and the amazon orders clearly say class 10 on them with android logo, but they have different model numbers and the sandisk from amazon has a much smaller packaging. SDSDQUA-064G-U46A and SDSDQUA-064G-A11A. What is the model number for the class 6 version? I haven't seen that one.

Some people are having issues with the class 10.....I'm guessing that's why

Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk 2

I would still hold on to the class 10 since it cost more than a class 6 card.

Wow, really?!?! You must be the 1%. Kind of find that hard to believe actually! What do you use your cards for?? I move big 720p movie files and I'm constantly writing/adding and erasing. Sandisk has been good to me!

I've been using Sandisk's card since the 'o Windows CE and Pocket PC days. My first PDA was a Casio Cassiopeia device. Casio Cassiopeia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I started off with Sandisks stuff back then (CF cards.) and the failure rate on their wares, IMHO, is high. I then went to SD card, and then MicroSD card. Again failure after failure once a year. Maybe its just me?? *shrugs* Not sure. But 2 years ago I gave up on their stuff and went with Transcend and Kingston. Rock solid.

I bought an Kingston 8gb micro sd card from Newegg last year and had a lot of errors when I was moving big files (1gb or more) on it. To be fair, I started having problems with it after 6 months of use so I did have some good use out of it. I guess it all comes down to personal experience with these cards.

You realize the U.S. versions can only take up to 32 GB, right? Even Amazon shows the U.S. versions as taking 32 GBs, while the Internationals show they can take 64. Best case scenario the phone will see 32 GBs, worst case they won't work at all.

Samsung's own site lists up to 64GB for all of the carrier versions.

Can you provide a link please. I can't find that anywhere on Samsung's site and would like to feel safe in my purchase.

Samsung Galaxy Smartphones

Select whichever carrier version you want. The AT&T and Verizon carrier sites also list it as up to 64GB. Sprints lists it as 32GB but that conflicts what Samsung has on their site. Guess we'll know who's correct once the devices ship.

Missed the Best Buy deal..... What does everyone think of the deal ??

32g Class 10 card for $19.49 with free shipping....

Amazon.com: Polaroid 32 GB CL10 micro SDHC Flash Memory Cards for Tablet PCs and Smartphones (P-SDU32G10-EFPOL): Computers & Accessories

Meh. If you take a look at the pictures associated with that card you will see that in a couple of the benchmarks sequential writes are listed as 10.36MB/s Class 10 cards should be able to maintain a 10MB/s read and write speed. So it meets the minimum criteria for that. Its not a bad card just not the fastest out there. For $20. Yah. go for it.
