So after I set up my phone, I had a voicemail notification...but when I check my voicemail, it says I have no messages.

Now I have a voicemail notification that I cannot get rid of.

Just wondering if anyone had any similar issues or ideas on how to fix it.

Thanks.

Re: Voicemail Notification Will Not Clear. Help!

Well I figured out how to fix my problem. I guess I will post my findings here in case anyone else runs into the same issue.
Fix:
-Left myself a new voicemail
-Called voicemail and deleted new message
-Notification is now gone

Thank you! Only had my GS3 a few hours and that stupid voicemail notification was driving me crazy. I tried all kinds of things to make it go away. I was on hold with TMo for about 30 minutes and no one could figure out how to get rid of it. While I was waiting, I decided to check the AC forums. Found your post, followed your instructions, and it went away. Thanks again!

I have the same problem but I can't do your trick because I canceled my phone plan because I am travelling abroad. I am now using my phone with Wi Fi only so I can't even access my voice mail no more. Could I perhaps switch off the phone call service since im not using it ?

Nothing has worked with my galaxy note....
I cancelled voicemail with telus...when the notification was there..
I didn't set up voicemail so I only get a busy signal when I call it.
Everytime the phone is shut off and turned on the notification is there...
I've cleared the cache but not the media data because of the warning box that pops up..
