guys new to the forum glad there is a discussion here about charging.

I recently bought a power bank.It is a generic 5200 mah power bank I searched the net for its model number and this is

    Google Translate

In the manual it states there are 2 different amp.

    USB port 1 outputs @ 5v 1A
    USB port 2 outputs @ 5v 0.8A

Can I plug my samsung s3 to any port? I'm afraid it will screw my battery.

So far I tried the 0.8A since this is closest to the charger of S3 which is 0.7A. It worked fine charged my phone from
    46% to 96% within 1hr 30min

Yea mine is slow... It's the charger... When I use my Motorola charger from my razr its done, fully charged when I wake up... But when I use the one that the GS3 came with.... It's only at 81% when I wake up....

Generally phones have a chip in them to only allow the proper amperage, and so you should be fine. http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2213948

How long do you sleep for, 3 hours? Mine is ready to go after an overnight charge. The AC charger that comes with the phone has an output of 1A (1 amp) an hour. The S3 has a 2100mah battery, so in theory it should charge it to full capacity in just over 2 hours. Now, charging times will vary but it shouldn't take any longer than 3 hours to charge to full capacity. Just my thoughts.

Use either one. The Samsumg electronics will prevent damage to the phone or battery.
But, if the lower output port works for you, use it. The battery will prefer the lower current/heating level.

    But....
I have an Anker portable charger like the one you showed. My SIII charges at the same rate on both ports, even though one is rated at a higher output. I think they label them like that so you feel like they are different.
