I have an invisashield hd screen protector and you can't tell it's there. The normal invisashield ones have a rubbery texture but the hd ones do not.
Is that the one staples sell? Did you use one specific for the n7 or get one for the kindle fire? I was wondering if that would make that much of a difference.

How do I like it or how did I find one?

At first I was annoyed. It seemed right for the right person but my fingers were not yet used to the keyboards space bar just above the home button. That was really my only complaint but i wasn't sure if I was sold on a 7inch screen coming from an iPad 1.

After a week now i love it. My finger memory got used to the keyboard and the 7 inch is perfect for on the go, pocket sized tablet. I'm also sold on the whole Google experience and this thing is seriously fast and responsive. I wouldn't replace this except for an upgrade a year from now when we are all sure that will happen.

Otherwise I just walked into my local staples, test drove their display model and picked one up, no pre-order, they had plenty.

Yep, nude screen with a boxwave case. I tried a cheap screen protector, but was frustrated by aor bubbles and the way it made my phone look cheap. I never put anything else in my pocket where I keep my phone. So not worried about screen scratches.

I had an ZAGG IS and didnt care for it to much. For now I am using the Otterbox Defender case with built in screen protector. If I must say so my self...Its nice!

    Works well for me anyways.

I was going nude for a few days after I got it, but yesterday I was at the mall for a movie and they have a Ghost Armor kiosk there. I've used GA on my last two phones prior to the S3 (HTC Inspire and Syrocket) and had no complaints about it and in fact, quite liked them, so I decided to go ahead and have them throw one on there. I'm quite careful with my phones, but there can always be the random weird things that happen to scratch it up some so I decided to be safe...

Go figure, today I just noticed two extremely fine scratches on the screen. They are very hard to see and don't affect the viewing at all, but they are there. Probably got them last night when I was ticked trying to edit a post and was having the issue I posted about in my most recent thread. I gently tossed the phone onto my desk in frustration and it landed face down. Wasn't hard or anything and my desk is smooth so not sure why it still got the two tiny scratches. Guess I'll be even more careful from now on, had no idea it could micro-scratch so easily.

I was going nude until I cracked the phone dropping it on my end table now it's back in the case. It's a small crack in the middle of the screen that you can't really see but you can feel it if you run your nail across it.

screen protector on. there are some good quality protectors that feel like nothing is on. will not risk scratching up my beautiful 4.8inch screen . all it takes is one careless mistake. I usually baby my phone and am very careful with it but no one knows. and imagine how heartbroken you will be when you find that first scratch. not worth it!
btw, using SGP's ultra nano clear and it works like a charm

Going nude here. I've dropped mine a couple times, and not a scratch. I do have a soft shell case though.. maybe that's what made the difference. Gorilla Glass 2 is super tough though, I dont think you have much to worry about.

The deep rim on my OB Defender will greatly decrease the likelihood that I will have to worry about my screen. The built-in screen protector is not HD but is much better than its competition and doesn't peel up or discolor needing to be replaced.

Nude....but I just noticed last night I have scratches on it. No idea what I did to it, but must've rubbed it up against something because there's several sets of 2 parallel scratches.
Ugh...I was hoping that was a one-time thing but I noticed more scratches today. Ordering a Zagg tonight.

And I'm careful with my phone...I have no idea what would be scratching it. I even keep it screen up on the desk, so I'm not putting it face down or anything.

My old EVO 4G looks pristine (at least the screen does). My S3 is scratched up after 3 weeks

Yeah pretty much the only time my screen is against anything is in my pocket (so it's against the cloth), but the phone is the only thing I put in there. Do maybe just getting it in and out is scratching it....

Much more sensitive than my old phone

thats exactly what i do man and by no means do i baby the phone. the battery cover has some pretty bad scratches but the screen is flawless. maybe the guy in the gorilla glass 2 thread is on to something.. seems like phones have been shipped with two different qualitys of glass

i have no idea man bein from the UK. i really hope samsung havent done that to their customers (send out phones with lower quality glass) it would be nice to see a poll and work out if its the US phones that got the bad glass seeing as they were the last (i think) to get the s3

My screen is nude! In fact, my past few phones have all been naked too.

I always have a case that extends slightly past the screen so that it should be fine if it falls onto something fairly flat. Not only do I have the case, but these screens are only getting tougher (thanks to Gorilla Glass).

The main reason why I don't use a screen protector is because every protector I have used in the past has made the screen look noticeably worse. With this phone, I bought it (in part) for the great screen and I wouldn't want to degrade this awesome experience.

You folks who go nude screen, should at least buy a microfiber pouch for when you put it in pockets or purses. It also clears grease or fingerprints away without scratching. Even with gorilla glass 2, a small speck of sand or grit, can scratch it easily. It is glass after all.

Agreed but I would get a screen protector regardless. I work at a phone store, the demos that don't leave a foot of the display get their screens scratched. And yes the SIII applies as well, ours has many micro scratches... even if it's GG2.

I guarantee there were scratches when stabbed it with the keys. Imagine a car windshield driving at 60 mph and little rock or pebble flies at the window. My car windshield has a lot of little fractures from exactly that.

Oddly enough for me the HD feels rubbery, a little less than the og zagg. But I may switch t9 a tempered glass screen protector
