If you don't want ads, just sign up for Pandora One. I don't get that people spend 60 - 100 bucks a month or more for phone service, and can't spend $3 a month to help keep Pandora in business. Or, if you're too cheap for that, to listen to an ad now and then. Pandora isn't running ads because they're greedy, money-sucking busturds. They're doing it because the copyright board is forcing them to pay royalties to the music companies that own copyright to the songs they play. If Pandora can't cover those costs, you won't have your nice customized music streaming any more.
