Just rooted, cant get OTA t-mobile update?

Just wondering why im not getting the tmobile OTA that was released today. I just rooted so my status is now Modified. And im on prepaid tmobile. Would those have any reason that tmobile wont push me the update?

It says device is up to date. When clearly its not.

i duno then mate. must be coz its rooted. will it not update over the computer?

Rooting itself will not prevent you from getting the update, unless you have frozen apps, or installed a custom ROM. The update will however probably break root. Chances are that the update has not been pushed to your phone yet, they generally come in "waves".

yeah ive noticed that but usualy the phone tells me to try again later

Well I updated my T-Mobile S3 yesterday night. I tried doing it over OTA after all these websites released articles of the update. But like the OP it said phone up to date. I had to connect my phone to my computer and use Kies to update.

kies always bleeps up on me lol. computers hate me

same here- kies 'sort of' works on my ubuntu machine but doesn't work at all on my windows laptop. very annoying.
