Thought it'd be a fun experiment to run benchmark test on The best dev backed up phone vs one of the top 2 android device to date, benchmarks are not to be taken too seriously as they are not to reflective of real world usage, plus some of you may say this test is un-fair becuase thr gs3 running 4.0.4 and g-nexus running 4.1... non the less your thoughts and opinions are all welcome!

Were you running the S3 on power saving mode? I am getting different results.

Results (Both running ICS):

NenaMark1
S3: 59.0
Nex: 52.8
NenaMark2
S3: 58.7
Nex: 26.5
Quadrant Standard
S3: 4898
Nex: 2022
AnTuTU
S3: 6807
Nex: 6437
Superpi (128k)
S3: 65.215s
Nex: 96.901s

Also, my S3 was at the top of the Quadrant list by a long shot.

S3 towers over nexus :p but don't get me wrong I love my Nexus too and do not want to leave it get dusty even though my "phone" phone is the S3.

Do like the video though. Nice job

I was...yea your right... power save mode is most likely underclocking the CPU... damn.. so the nexus would be 0-4 instead of 2-2.... thanks for pointing that out...! Well at least the nexus somewhat stood a chance....

Haha no worries, it is very easy to overlook. The Nexus is still a great device IMO. The 2GB RAM on the S3 really gives it a hand up though. You should do it again with the two devices :p

You mean another benchmark battle between 2 different devices? Or with these 2 again?

Yup power saver killed your GS3 man.

I don't even run nenamark 1 anymore since even my original Galaxy S got over 50 frames per second.

on my GS3 I got

Nenamark 2: 58.7 fps
Linpack multi thread: 220 mflops
Quadrant standard: 5500
