Pics too large in email

Some pics are entirely too big to view in the email apps without needing to slide left and right to view the entire image. Some images that I receive are completely too large to see much of anything at all in the app, namely the Yahoo Mail app. There is no ability to pinch to shrink and the -/+ options that show up on-screen only let you shrink the picture if you first use the + to make it even larger. Even then, the - only allows you to shrink it back to the size it was before you used the + which is still too big.

Rather annoying seeing how we're better than iOS but the stock email on iPhone resizes all pics to fit the width of the screen automatically for complete viewing in the email app.

Any thoughts?
