Exchange it for a 32gb and pay the difference?

If you don't mind some limitations on what can be stored on the additional 16gb, add a micro sd card.

I opened the back of my GS3 and inserted a 64 GB micro sdxc Class 10 card. I formatted it and now I have 80 GB of storage.

From the rare specificity from the OP, who is to say what might help? Are we supposed to be Marvin the Mind Reader?

lol..up it to 32GB. You either exchange your 16GB for a 32GB and pay what ~$100 more or you add more space through microsd cards. You can't store apps on the SD with a S3 though.

The issue of storing apps on the sd card is such rubbish. Given the size of the largest app, how many would you have to download to make it an issue? I have almost 55 apps that can't be be using that many resources.

high end games mate (not a problem for me thankfully) at over a Gig, you can see how 32gb version would be more desirable to a gamer eh ;)

Games over 1 GB are scarce for phones, so l would say that is a wash. If the OP is going to use the phone like an ipod for media consumption, a sd card is ideal. The bigger the better for large media files. Movies can take up to 4GB depending on resolution.

I mean, these aren't iphones with no expansion options after purchase.

If you need games that bad, get an PS3 or an xBox. Sony has a portable version as well.

Ok ppl. thnx. for your input. Since I put that post out there I did some research, so if I stay with the 16gb phone and install a 2gb micro SD card I should be fine with what I want to do.
I'm not heavy into gaming but I do like my music and some new apps. If you think this would be a good compromise let me know.

At least, get a 16 or 32 GB micro sdxc Class 10 card. It is a less expensive way to expand memory without having change devices. These cards are relatively inexpensive on Amazon.

I wasn't sure on what to get the 16 or the 32gb phone so I just went ahead and got the 32gig it was a bit pricey but I am happy that I bought the phone in general.. I didn't wanna have that feeling like I should have gotten the 32 over the 16 in the first place...now I do wish I got the white over the pebble blue
