Question about LTE

So this may be a simple question but I wanted to make sure
Say I use my GPS and one day I use just 4G and another day I use LTE, but go the exact same distance each day
Will the LTE use more data than just 4G because its faster? Or will they both use the same amount of data?

Only thing that changes is the speed you get the information you are still just downloading the same amount of data! You may see worse battery life though on lte

FYI, since you seem to be misinformed (I'm guessing by a Sprint rep), LTE is 4G. Were you comparing LTE and Wimax? The GS3 isn't compatible with Wimax, so the only 4G you'll ever get is LTE.
