I've just updated my S3, but there seems to be no Google Now loaded with it. I have tried to install it, but have had no luck so far. Looking at settings there is nothing to indicate that Google Now is installed and if I ask it anything it will just do a net search. It does not give me any sensible answers, oral or written. For instants "Do I need an umbrella" will not give me the weather. But umbrella related sites. Google Now looks really cool, so it would be great to have it.
Can anyone help?

^ I have exactly same problem. I've tried to ask it the same questions I see in pictures but the Google Now will just search for the Internet. It only gives me search results. I does NOT give me any of these:

When I asked what's the temp of the sun. It gave me that same picture you posted.

i love the voice - very natural. has anyone been able to open an app ?? how about schedule an appt? i had mixed results with appt - plus it didn't actually add it to calendar. i had to manually confirm it. when asking next scheduled appt it didn't speak it as i thought it would have...

ask it "whats the time" and it should speak the time "whats the weather" and it speaks weather in your town" i use "english generic" voice input coz im scottish, make sure yours is set to whats suitable for you.
theres a google search update today that adds more commands btw
it says u can search gmail but i havent tried..

Think I've solved it. I had my phone set to Norwegian. When I set it to English it worked. I don't have any cards or option to set up any yet, but it speaks.

ditto. i disabled svoice straight away. Now voice really saves time with simple things, calculations, currency conversions etc.
i even put a tiny voice shortcut on my homescreen..

I don't have anything called Google Now under settings. Only Voice, Phone Search and Privacy & accounts. There are no cards either. But I finally got the voice search and the talk back to work. Any suggestions how I can fix this?

ok so i set my sports team as glasgow celtic (football) theyre playing right now and Now isnt tellin me anything... what does it only work for US sport???

im gutted. Celtic won 5-1 and not a peep from Now.... better not be thinkin of some US team called Celtic.

Tried that. There's no add team. Strange. I was able to add the team by asking a couple questions about them. Hope it works right for me too. Pretty cool feature
