Did a quick search and didn't find anything in the forums. I really just wondering what's the specific benefit, and if any. While troubleshooting phones at work I see that it drains a lot of battery life as well (its always high up on what's eating the battery) , and wondering if anyone has noticed this as well.

Yep that's it and on the normal battery menu it just says Samsung account. Doesn't seem to serve an important purpose, and at least for me

I think I have a Samsung account from when I got my first Fascinate, never actually used it or even put it on the phone.

One more question... Lol. If I did want to use the device locator through my Samsung account where in the settings do I go to turn on remote controls? I can't seem to find it
