It seems it does not work when inputting a URL in the address field (minor bug). However, it does work when inputting info on websites like AC, Google search, and Amazon to name a few. Cannot remember if "Swype" had this issue?

    +1

Really liking what I'm seeing. Things are improving more by the minute as it learns the words its having some difficulties with.

I have the app downloaded, but it won't download the correct keyboard translation. Keeps saying "Network Error". Any ideas?

Edit - It's working now. Network must have been busy.
Ya, I had the same issue. It eventually started.

Anyone noticing a battery drain with the beta version? I have noticed that it is running pretty high on the battery percentage in settings. Just wondering as I hope this is something that will go away once the final version comes out.

Liking it so far. Not a big fan of the "flowing" to the spacebar for a new word. It starts building a sentence then suddenly it just loses it. Like I will flow something like "This is a test of the emergency broadcast system" and it starts building the sentence then it just disappears half-way through the word "Emergency" and I lose everything. Think I'll just stick to one word word at a time.

This baby is much smoother than swype. Prediction is kind of better as well. Spacing isn't, as someone who likes the correct use of punctuations. I'm not a fan of the automatic spacing

That happens a lot on beta apps. I didn't notice anything crazy off but my battery was definitely not stellar today so you never know.

You swirl over the letter, like an o shape on the letter that doubles.

My phone just randomly rebooted while typing with the beta.

I'm not saying it's the beta, and but it's the first time my phone ever rebooted on its own

[ EDIT #2 ] Funny thing though. The Swiftkey VIP Forum registration page wouldn't accept my registration page until I changed my 'Registration Question:' answer from: 'Swype Beta' . . to 'Swiftkey'. lol

I still have to lift a finger in between words. Is there a setting to change this?
Just swipe down to the spacebar, then continue swiping the next word. It'll show up in the predictions line. Lift your finger when you want to end.

Is everyone keeping both versions installed. I'm debating uninstalling 3 since it's learned my style so well

Not bad. Wish it worked within Google apps like the Play Store and Play Music. Also the 'swipe to space bar to continue a sentrance' feature seem like it's only good for a few words at a time.

Two problems i dont like the spacing or the fact that it doesn't work in every app. Or every situation

I'm thinking you'll want to keep both installed. When it is out of beta, it will hopefully just update that version to SwiftKey 4 (which is essentially what this is).

But they may change the app name in the Google Play Store.

It looks 'good'. Albeit I've never been a 'swype' type user, and I have always wondered if in time using things like will it make one lazy to type?

Anyway, like a few others, I like 'two thumb typing'

Ditto here. Just downloaded it. I've only had the S3 two weeks and wasn't thrilled with the Samsung keyboard. I've been using a Swype-like keyboard on my rooted/ROM'd LG Optimus S and I missed the "microphone" key. This one has it!

I tried Swiftkey 3 last week since so many people swear by it, but I'm just so conditioned to "swyping" my text.

    We'll see how it goes...
