    I wonder if a firmware update could fix the main boards dieing? I wouldn't think so but apparently so .

    Maybe they actually found out the cause of the boards dying and are addressing the root cause. Maybe it was too many bits all going the same direction at the same time so they made a software alternate route. Maybe...

    Looks hopefull mate. In the meantime, how dead is the phone, could modification be detected and void the warranty u think?
