randomly stopped playing out of right speaker

Today for no reason at all my phone stopped playing out of the right side of my headphones and when i plugged in the aux cord in to play it in my car it only came through the left speaker. I have checked the headphones and the aux cord and they both work fine. when i plug in the headphones it does click so i don't think its the jack. Please help.

This is probably obvious, but it always worth checking the easy things first. You are sure you've pushed the cord all the way in. it will click when it's only part way in.

Yes it clicks in. I even tried jiggling it around the jack to see if it was a connection problem didn't give me any sound.

this started happening to me yesterday on my gnex. the right side wouldnt play on anything whether its on headphones or aux cable. now it wont play anything at all with anything i hook up to it. the phone recognizes the headset and thinks its playing but i dont hear anything. volume is all the way up and cables are pushed in pretty hard and u hear the click that its in all the way. anyone knw why this is happening?

You should see about exchanging it. I believe you have a faulty audio jack.
