Automatically upload photos to Google Drive?

Dropbox app has a feature where it will automatically upload the photos/videos you take on your phone to your Dropbox folder instantly. Does Google Drive have a similar feature?

The Google equivalent of this uploads your photos to a private folder in Google+. I don't think you can automatically upload to your Google Drive.

Look for a setting called Instant Upload on the Google+ app.

I don't see any setting like that in the Google Drive app.
There's an item in the sync settings for your Google account that let's you sync photos, but I have no idea where they go since I don't have that item enabled.
If you're on Verizon, Backup Assistant + will automatically backup pictures/screenshots (not sure about videos) to your storage.

I know that your post was a long time ago (Mid-May), and maybe you've found a solution to your problem already? But what about "Gallery Drive Sync"?
