spam chinese emails from the future?

Hi
I keep on getting spam emails that are getting through to my gmail account.

They are always in chinese and I was told by a friend they are offering courses in IT etc. They are in my spam folder in my inbox but get through. The dates are also from the future. 16/7/15 ... 2017 etc.

Downloaded ad push detecor and it said your clear? Help

Spam can come from anywhere and wouldn't have anything to do with pushed ads. You might try making a filter in your Gmail for the sender, if it's the same every time, that would send them directly to your trash folder.

Are you saying they're in your spam folder on gmail's web site interface, but in your inbox on your phone? Are you using the gmail app, or the regular mail app to get gmail on your phone?

If they're in your inbox on gmail's web interface, be sure to mark them as spam there. Google's pretty good at keeping it's spam filters up to date.
