Disappearing Dock Icon

Every few days or so the messaging icon disappears from my dock. I've searched the forums and can't find anyone else having the same issue. Anybody ever seen or heard of this? Any help or input would be appreciated.

That's a new one on me.
Does it come back by itself, or do you manually have to add it back?
Couldn't help noticing that you have Viber installed - did this problem start around the time you installed that?
I suppose a simple phone restart doesn't solve the problem?

It doesn't come back by itself, I have to add it manually. You know it may have started around the time viber was updated, but not when originally installed. Maybe I'll try Nova launcher out.

Same issue here with camera icon. Every reboot. Ill bet its an app. Was having major issues until I got rid of Kohls app. Probably another crappy app.

Well I uninstalled and then reinstalled viber and the messaging icon hasn't disappeared for a few days now. Hopefully that was it.
