I usually have my phone connected to the aux cable when im driving, today i noticed it had driving mode, i turned it on i sent myself a text but nothing happened, so i just shut it off again, am i supposed to do something to make it work. I believe all it does is read incoming text messages, and possibly emails.
will it work if im using hand cent, or swift key?
I don't think the keyboard will make a difference. Not sure about handcent. Also, you need to have s-voice enabled.
how do you enable it? yesterday it started working, but all it did was said new text from so and so, really defeats the purpose if you still have to read it
I haven't actually used driving mode, so I'm not totally sure about this, but...The s-voice icon should be in your app drawer. Tap to open, then tap menu / settings. You probably want wake-up in lock screen checked, and which-ever way "Show body of message" is set now, try the other setting. Otherwise, play around with the options and see what happens.
