i have a problem with my galaxy s3 and i hope someone can help me out

basically my phone died last night with a frozen screen for a few minutes then switched off completely
when i put it on charge the battery shows on the screen but does not show that it is charging and when i try to switch the phone on it hangs on the samsung galaxy s3 i9300 screen and does not turn on
i put the battery in a friend of mines s3 and the battery was still working but when i put my friends battery into my phone it gives me the same problem again
PLEASE HELP
any info or advice will be greatly appreciated

Use your friend's battery, and reboot into recovery. Here is how: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sam...2-s3-tab2.html

Clear the cache, and reboot the device. See if that helps.
