Power Saving mode

[Hopeless One]

Hey everybody. I wonder if you can set up the Power Saving Mode (further psm) the way it works on on some HTCs for example. For ex. if it's like on 15% of charge it will automatically go to psm. Is it possible, does it require root priveleges (I will root mine anyway when I'll get it fixed) or is there any kind of app I don't know about?
