playing music from my S3 to my laptop(windows 8) via bluetooth

hi guys
is there a way to play music through my computer connecting my phone to it via bluetooth. i am running windows 8
so almost like wireless speakers
please help me

If they're both on the same Wi-Fi network they should already see each other and show up as media sources.

But to answer your question, yes, you should be able to use bluetooth to establish a connection for the same purpose.

I have a Galaxy Note 3 but am looking to do the same thing.

How do you do this exactly, do you know?
On my pc it says the Bluetooth device(my phone) is 'offine', which I'm not sure is a problem or not, I can't find the answer online,
and on my phone the settings don't allow me to find the device when in the music player to play via Bluetooth but is still paired in the settings.

After you paired the computer did you examine the profile (on the phone) to be sure the computer was shown as a media device?
