Galaxy S3 - please help guys rooting issue! :(

i have a problem rooting my s3 and its driving me insane! i know what the problem is but i dont know how to fix it.. right well i tried to route using heimdall on my macbook and after some messing about i got it to work using files from galaxys3root.com the problem is the tutorial i followed mentioned nothing about the install-recovery.sh file and i cant boot in to clockwork recovery because its flashing itself back but i can delete or rename the file because i dont have root!! so im stuck! and going crazy! i have tried to reflash the same recovery image and pit file but i gives an error.. can somebody give me an better files to flash or any tips or advice?.. many thanks in advance

The only suggestion I can give is to find a friend with a Windows-based computer and use the methods provided there. Sorry.
