I'm currently testing the functionality of a new speaker. One nice thing is the ability to connect via bluetooth to play sound/music. As you could imagine this is pretty convenient for a number of reasons.
I'm wondering however if it's possible that instead of using the bluetooth to play sound files, if you could use the microphone in the smartphone to speak instead, basically turning your phone into this:
Edit: Ok, it seems there are apps for this, the quality of the sound leaves a lot to be desired though. I guess it isn't possible to do it on the phone directly.
