Hey All,

My Galaxy S3 turned itself off a few weeks' ago, and when I turned it back on it'll go to the logo screen and no further.

T-Mobile won't fix it, apparently it's no longer in warranty because of a small crack on the screen from a year ago!

Anyway, I've tried the whole, home button, volume up, power button thing but it won't work...nothing happens.

Should I be timing it a certain way, or are there any other options?

I'm unable to download any software or install anything, so just need tips and ways to fix this by just using the phones buttons.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums.
I would see if you can get into Download Mode which is power, home and volume down.

OK great, that's gone in to download mode. Do I need to do anything, or just leave it? It just says "downloading....do not turn off target"

Ok. That is a good sign. Pull the battery and on your PC go to Samsung updates.com. Look for your exact model number and download the most up to date ROM.

From a Sprint Moto X using the AC Forums app.
